Prof Moawad is a Senior consultant dermatologist with over 40 years of experience in the field. Particular expertise in cosmetic surgery and Laser. Years of dedication, extensive research, and experience, as well as being the author of numerous published articles on cosmetic surgery and skin disease, have brought recognition among peers as renowned cosmetic surgeons.

Since 1997, provided visionary leadership, strategic planning, and operational guidance as founder and executive director of the specialized clinics/L’institute, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since 2004 as a founder of Moawad Skin Institute (MSI), Cairo-Egypt, I have demonstrated stature as a physician and competency as a leader. Specific Areas of expertise include Dermatology, Cosmetic surgery, and Laser surgery.

SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

First dermatologist in the Middle East to use pulsed dye lasers to treat both vascular and pigmented skin lesions; successfully treating thousands of patients since
Established the first laser unit at the Security Forces Hospital (Riyadh), Saudi Arabia, changing the fate for many patients and bringing national recognition from colleagues and
Designed and implemented programs for immediate improvement and alternative services in line with department goals and results for dermatology services at the Security Forces Hospital,
Identified restructuring opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness while implementing policy and controls to ensure compliance for excellence in quality and outstanding patient
Pioneered the development and foundation for L’institute, one of the first private centers in Riyadh for dermatology, laser, and cosmetic
Provided the strategic vision, a high visibility market recognition campaign, and operational guidance for the business development and long-term positioning of the Specialized Clinics.
They created and developed a line of physician-formulated skincare products under the trademark M-Care and Dr. Derm, sold exclusively through dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
